Völkl Pearl skis are designed for a freeskiing woman's park and pipe needs, whether she's riding rails, catching air or stomping landings. Vertical sidewalls and torsion box design provide excellent grip, stability and sensitivity. Dense wood underfoot provides excellent screw retention; soft poplar wood in the remainder of the ski creates snappy responsiveness. Women-specific wood core uses lightweight but structurally sound balsa wood, creating a core that is lighter and more flexible than comparable unisex skis. Dimension-3 sidecut, designed to optimize the ski's flexed shape, contacts snow with an even pressure that yields incredibly smooth turns. Soft-flexing Butter Zones in the tip and tail of ski allow smooth and controlled nose and tail presses. Twin-tip construction has fully symmetric sidecut to give riding switch the same carving characteristics as riding forward.
