PMI Spire Half & Half 10.2mm x 60m Dry Rope

As at home on the crags as it is on long alpine routes, the PMI® Spire Half & Half dry rope is an ideal all-around rope for nearly any climb. UltraDry™ treatment penetrates sheath and core to retard water absorption and improve abrasion resistance. Half & Half™ design allows quick identification of rope's mid-point through a distinctive pattern change in the sheath. Suitable for traditional, sport and alpine-style climbing, the Spire is as at home on the crags as it is on long alpine routes. Kernmantle design combines durable braided sheath and shock-absorbing core for protection from fall forces. Unique torque balanced core minimizes kinking and spinning when lowering , rappelling or jumaring. 10.2mm diameter shaves overall weight and improves handling characteristic without seriously impacting the overall performance of the rope. Smaller diameter allows easier clipping, while reducing weight and bulk for easier transport. 60-meter length allows longer leads and rappels; eliminates the need for double rope rappels in many cases.
