Thin-wall construction of the Second Skin Shell creates Salomon's lightest, most sensitive boot ever, providing superior fit and feel. Energyzer shell reinforcement provides a progressive and responsive flex. Bi-material shell and cuff use soft materials over the instep and front of the cuff for ease of entry, excellent foot envelopment and progressive flex. Softex fiber insert on the internal part of the cuff reduces deformation of the plastic to improve leg wrapping. My Customfit Race liner features thermal-formable foam that conforms over instep and around the sides of foot, heel, Achilles and shin for a precise fit. Sensitive, leather-textured liner helps transmit ''snow feel'' through the forefoot. Loop on tongue aids pulling the boot on and taking it off. Microadjustable titanium buckles shave weight off the boot while providing performance-enhancing stiffness. Extended cuff buckles require less effort to close than standard buckles. Auto 3D instep buckle has three adjustable positions on the shell, allowing a personalized closure angle for optimal envelopment, comfort and control. 3D Asymmetrical 45mm Strap maximizes wrap and support of the upper ankle while enhancing the boot's forward rigidity. Double canting adjustments align the cuff to lower leg shape; canting lock ensures zero transmission loss between cuff and shell.
