Built with adult features and kids' sizing, this external frame pack is ideal for introducing youngsters to overnight trips of up to a week long. Telescoping H-frame adjusts to allow plenty room to grow--fits most kids 5 to 13 years old. Padded shoulder straps include a sternum strap and wrap around a child's torso for a comfortable fit. Full-wrap padded waistbelt includes belt stabilizer straps to keep the pack anchored to the hips. Packbag has a large top-loading main compartment, an internal load pocket, 3 side gear pockets and a zippered stash pocket for organizing gear. Top of pack's hold-open bar makes loading and unloading easy. Breathable back panel provides ventilation and support. Hydration-compatible design features reservoir pocket and drink tube exit port for on-the-go hydration (reservoir sold separately). Made from lightweight, durable 210-denier nylon double ripstop and 420-denier nylon packcloth.
