MSR Coyote Snow Picket

Coyotes use a unique design and aircraft-grade aluminum for a lighter, stiffer picket. Heat-treated aircraft-grade aluminum is extruded into a modified T-shape for extra stiffness and holding power. Attachment points at 3" intervals along neutral axis for faster, easier clip-ins. Can be pounded in from either end or buried horzontally with a center-attached runner for a deadman anchor.

The Coyote Snow Picket by MSR has stood atop the world's highest peaks as well as in countless snowy playgrounds right here in North America. They are extruded from aircraft-grade heat-treated aluminum, which minimizes weight and maximizes strength. We modified the T-shaped cross-section and put more metal where strength and bending resistance are needed most. The result is a 20% increase in holding power over other pickets because our design exposes more surface area to the snow.
