The Super Makalu Ergometric Soft Antishock System Trekking pole by LEKI is equipped with the SAS system (Soft Antishock System). This is an internal spring system that has the perfect combination of steel spring and elastomer, for a quiet ride and less rebound, which makes for reduced stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments - a major benefit. Part of the Mountain Trek series, the Super Makalu SAS adjusts from 71-140 cm, is made with Aluminum throughout the pole and has a super comfy ergometric grip keeping your arms and hands in a relaxed position, again reducing fatigue and unecessary tension.
