Monster Static Ropes by Metolius have a proven longevity record and have been praised for their high tenacity - very low working elongations - and excellent handling and knotability characteristics (i.e. they don’t handle like a steel cable!). Meets or exceeds CE 0408 - EN 1891 - and U.I.A.A. standards.Static Ropes are characterized by their tough - durable nature and very low elongation. They are designed for use in applications such as jumaring - hauling - rope fixing - rigging and rescue work. They should never be used where energy absorption is required (catching a falling climber)!
