Grivel Evolution Ice Tool Component (Fall 2006)

The Evolution by Grivel, is Grivel's original hot-forged pick (first manufactured in 1991). Thin profile and short tip height improve penetration in hard ice. Originally designed as a waterfall-specific pick the Evolution is chosen by many Grivel ambassadors as their primary alpine pick, because sometimes performance outweighs durability. The pick angle matches curve of Light Wing, Alp Wing or older Grivel tools such as the original Super Courmayeur, 90 Degree, Rambo (II), and Geronimo.
