Deuter patented Aircomfort suspension design allows warm air to escape and fresh air to circulate between pack body and wearer. Suspension consists of spring steel frame that is flexible and light, and tensioned to support the suspended mesh for ventilation. Contoured, padded shoulder straps are lined with MeshTex fabric for breathability and feature stabilizer straps for ideal proper positioning of pack. Bilaminate hip pads and hipbelt wrap body, stabilizing and controlling lateral movements of pack while on the go. Main compartment has plenty of room for lunch and the 10 essentials; two side mesh pockets are roomy enough for water bottles and snacks. Practical front pocket stores your map, compass, headlamp and other often-used gear. Bottom compartment is accessed from and separated from the rest of the pack, ideal for keeping wet/dirty items separated. Hydration-compatible design features reservoir pocket and drink tube exit port for on-the-go hydration (reservoir sold separately). Side compression straps let you cinch down loads for jostle-free carrying. Built-in rain cover can be pulled out in a flash, protecting your pack from sudden downpours.
