"Hardly -20. More like 20+, maybe I work for a wilderness therapy program, so I'm out in the backcountry in Utah for a week at a time and need something exceptional. I bought this bag before my training in mid-March. It snowed heavily a few nights and I was shivering and miserably all night long, even with thermals and thick fleece pants and a jacket and two pairs of wool socks and gloves. The wind was still bitterly blowing through my bag (it stayed fairly dry though, at least) Now that it is moving into summer and the night time temperatures are around 30-45 degrees, the bag is just right. It's a comfortable fit and all that, but it's positively NOT a -20 bag. One of my coworkers has the same bag and concurs: The North Face needs to reconsider this one because it's false advertising!"

" At least I didn't get hypothermia I bought another North Face hoping to get the same excellent performance as my old TNF Snowshoe for winter camping. However, the -20F Tundra is WAY overrated. We were camping on about a foot of packed powder and the lows were around 0F. I usually sleep pretty warm, so I had high hopes for the -20 bag, but I was freezing for two nights. I tried wearing all my extra clothes, putting my pack and shell under me, and putting a Space Blanket under the 4-season tent. Not sleeping for two nights takes a lot of the fun out of snowshoeing through fresh powder. North Face needs to reevaluate how they rate a bag. This is one heavy, expensive +20 degree bag! "

" great bag for the money I bought this bag some time ago and I have to say it kicks @ss! I used it in the Adirondacks and New Hampshire in extreme cold and was damn cozy. I am very prone to getting cold (Big Wussy) as far as cold is concerned. I love this bag! Buy it, you won't regret it."

" Awesome Fast , great service, best price... instant customer care. Bag is in perfect condition and comfortable - Patagonia here I come. The sleeping bag itself is comfy even though i'm 6 foot 1 170pounds it fits me like a glove and I would recommend it to anyone"

" I guess I'm not the only one What a relief to see that others have had the same experience freezing their buns off with this bag. I shivered through a night in a CABIN in this bag. I thought it was me, but I guess it's the bag! Why is it so ineffective? Bad fill? I think after reading these other reviews, this bag is going back to The North Face. "
