Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 Footprint

The Trango 2 Footprint by Mountain Hardwear is an accessory grommeted sheet that serves as protection for your tent's floor. The footprint can also be used in conjunction with the fly, and the tent poles. The result is a structure that keeps off the rain, provides a fabric floor and has tremendous ventilation at a fraction of the weight of the complete tent. Great for use when you want to go ultra fast and light or mild weather trips.

This coated nylon taffeta footprint attaches underneath your Mountain Hardwear® Trango 2 tent to protect the floor from abrasion and damage. Precisely cut to prevent water from collecting between the tent floor and footprint in rainy weather. Attaches to tent poles easily with grommet tabs. For a lightweight shelter option, combine the footprint with the rainfly and poles to create a minimalist rain shed. Footprint will add approximately 13 ounces to your pack, depending on tent model.
