With their 3-Sigma rating, Wallnuts are hot forged from aluminum (7075 T-6 or 6082 T-6 depending on size) and their galvanized steel cables are swaged using an advanced system with extra long ferrules for maximum strength and security. Wallnuts are designed to cover a size range of placements from 2 mm - 32 mm, and each size overlaps with the next when turned sideways for ultimate user-friendliness.Wallnuts have been available for almost 20 years now and have proved their popularity over and over again. Their recessed design, cavities and flared profile offer a wider range of placement possibilities. The one improvement that DMM has managed to make to this popular design is to make the larger sizes even lighter. This change is in line with the focus of DMM's latest development to lighten the load on the climber without compromising strength or functionality. Sizes 7 to 11 will now be produced from CNC machined, extrusion and will lighten the load of a full set of Wallnuts by 55 grams.
