Gore-Tex® 3L Pro Shell fabric is tough, extremely breathable and durably waterproof and windproof. Gore Micro Grid lining is a thin, low-denier, low-density woven fabric that allows the shell to slide easily over mid layers. A reduced number and thickness of seams offers improved abrasion- and snag-resistance, enhanced breathability and decreased weight. Strategically placed high-denier fabric reinforces areas that are prone to abrasion. Lightweight Stow Hood™ with molded brim compresses to hide within the jacket's collar; it's accessible through a watertight zipper. Curved watertight front zipper eliminates chin chafe and ensures total weatherproofness; laminated quick-dry chin guard protects soft skin. Features laminated watertight polyurethane exposed pit and pocket zippers, laminated DryCuffs™ and a laminated, adjustable powder skirt. Also features laminated hem, cord tunnels and zipper garages. Embedded Recco® reflector enhances radio signals from search-and-rescue Recco detectors for quicker acquisition of position in an avalanche.
