The Petzl Duo LED 5 Headlamp combines an ultra-bright Halogen bulb and five LED bulbs to give you the option between long-distance lighting or energy savings.

The Petzl Duo LED 5 Headlamp is water-resistant and comes with two illumination options, LED and halogen. Thus, you can use the halogen when you need the distance, and flick the switch over to the LED for proximity. The Duo LED 5 from Petzl is ideal for wet caves, canyoning, kayaking, and any wet weather sport or rescue situation. This is also a great choice for long multi-pitch and multi-day climbing routes. Switch the Duo 5 over to the halogen bulb to scope the route or (sometimes more importantly) the descent. Then switch to the LED bulb to conserve battery life when climbing or chillin' at the bivouac.
