The Petzl Duo LED 14 Headlamp is a waterproof, hybrid headlamp with 14 LED lights for flood beam proximity lighting, and a halogen bulb for focused lighting. The Duo has 3 lighting levels when using the LED lights - optimum, maximum and economic in order to ensure you don't use your battery power when you really don't need to.The Duo LED 14 is waterproof down to -5 meters and is constructed to be one of the most durable headlamps around. With 14 LED lights, you won't get a surge of light and then lose your power, because the Duo actually regulates a constant level of lighting until the batteries are almost dead, and when they are close, the Duo switches itself to the reserve power mode. There is also an option to lock the on/off switch to prevent an accidental switch on, zapping your batteries, and leaving you in the dark. Operates on 4 AA / LR6 batteries (not included) or with optional ACCU DUO rechargeable batteries.
