This bombproof belay parka, with its high-loft hollow-fiber insulation, stays warm even when wet, sheds snow and blocks wind. Light-yet-tough quad-ripstop polyester shell fabric is treated with a Deluge® Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, and reinforced at the shoulders, elbows and hips. Climashield® Prism hollow-fiber insulation is heavier in the body for warmth and lighter in sleeves for mobility, and retains loft and thermal value when wet. Lining is supple and lightweight. Fabric reinforcements on shoulders, elbows and hip panels. Helmet-compatible, 2-way-adjustable hood. Features a DWR-coated, 2-way center-front zipper with internal windflap and a fold-over zipper garage for chin comfort.
