"Style and Comfort This jacket is the perfect jacket to have for wearing around town or for doing your daily exercise. I wear mine all the time in the fall and spring and use it as a mid layer when I ski in the winter. The look is incredible and it is actually very comfortable. The fit is close but not too close although I wish I would have got one size smaller. Its light and the monkey thumbs are awesome. I recommend this jacket for anyone looking for style and comfort but wont empty your wallet."

" Great jacket, great fit, great service Great jacket, very warm and looks great. To get the snug fit be sure to order a size down. An above poster mentioned the jacket waist length being short. I feel this to be a positive rather than a negative as the fit comes to the waist, which I like since it minimizes bulk and provides a cleaner look while still providing a complete range of movement without the jacket creeping up your torso. As I've mentioned on a previous product review, the customer service here is top notch and I will definitely order additional products on this feature alone. Very accommodating and they go beyond what can be expected in terms of customer service. I ordered this jacket for an upcoming trip and UPS lost my order. Customer service cleared up the problem and got me the jacket just in time for the trip and they did it with a pleasant tone, prompt call backs to keep me updated and they never made it feel like it was a hassle. Highly recommend ordering for this company."

" No regrets. I love this jacket, fits well, sleeves still seem a bit long, but there is nothing else I would change. For style, fit, and comfort, this jacket is awesome."

" I hate to rain on the parade... I never write reviews, and I really like most of The North Face's stuff, but I feel compelled to sound a warning note here. I bought two of these jackets, one for me and one for my friend as a gift, and both of us experienced MAJOR pilling of the fabric after very limited use. Anywhere the fabric comes into contact with a pack or even itself, it pills. Until The North Face changes the fabric, I'd avoid buying this product. (As for the other reviews, I am small and ordered a size small and it fit perfectly -- I had no need to size down as others seemed to. Also, the monkey holes are a great feature. If only the jacket did not look like it was made of cotton balls after a few uses.)"

" Almost Perfect An amazingly stylish jacket which often supercedes the comfort factor. I wore it for the first time this morning from the bus to work in downtown Seattle. The looks I got made me think my zipper was open. It definitely is a statement. I purchased the Empire Blue/Asphalt Gray color. As in other reviews, if you prefer the athletic fit, do order a size down. I have a 42 chest & a small fit me perfectly. It will show off the work you've been doing at the gym. It would lose the affect if it were slightly loose. My only complaint is the neck collar. The front cut needs to be tapered for your chin. When fully zipped, it rubs severely. When you're relaxing with it down slightly, the edges are a bothersome annoyance. You'll need to fold the collar down, but again, that takes away from the aesthetics. The warmth is sufficient, but if the wind kicks up, you feel like you're an uninsulated window. Overall, I'm quite the satisfied customer."
