This enhanced strength allows for thinner pole walls that reduce weight without compromising structural integrity. The double-door, pull-out vestibule design makes it easy to sort gear or make exits without disturbing the other occupant. In the event of rain or snow, the fly has a large UVX sky window, so you can keep an eye on changing weather. The same window material used in expedition-quality tents, UVX is a proprietary clear material that's been tested at 27,000 feet and resists clouding like PVC or plastic film. It even stays flexible all the way down to -66 F.
