The take-anywhere Valkyrie jacket from The North Face adapts to the demands of the user as well as to the demands of the climate. Polartec® Windbloc® is tightly woven for abrasion resistance and stretchy comfort; microfleece lining offers soft, warm comfort and manages moisture. Windbloc is windproof, water repellent and breathable, and it makes less noise than a hardshell. Brimmed drop hood cinches down for a close fit that provides unhindered peripheral vision. Softly lined collar shields neck from the cold, and the interior draft flap rolls over zipper to protect chin from abrasion. Features a drawcord hem and adjustable cuffs. Mesh-lined hand pockets are placed so they won't interfere with pack straps.
