Thr3ee-density shell construction uses materials of different hardnesses to maximize performance, fit and comfort. Hard materials comprise 60% of the shell and provide the torsional rigidity required for control and stability. Soft materials make up the remaining 40% and enhance wrap, fit and ease of entry and exit. Intermediate structure combines soft and hard materials through the instep to provide a secure wrap and fit while ensuring comfort. Rapid Access cuff is strong and sleek in profile, provides lateral strength, and improves cuff wrap and ease of entry, exit and closure. Dual alignment controls let you match the angle of the cuff to your lower leg and level the boot sole neutral on the ski. Redesigned UltraFit² liners offer better heel hold and foot envelopment than previous models; new materials enhance fit, performance and comfort. Floating Integrated Tongue moves with leg and shin as boot is flexed, providing a precise and comfortable fit and reducing uncomfortable pressures. Liner's neoprene toe box adds warmth and allows the front of the liner to expand, giving the toes the extra room they may need. Tongue handle pull strap aids in the entry and exit of the boot and ensures the tongue is correctly seated for your comfort and performance. Lycra® spandex along the back inside of the liner creates a smooth surface which enhances ease of entry and exit of the foot. Magnesium alloy buckles are 70% lighter, and stronger, than conventional buckles. Triple-position cuff catches offer 44mm of adjustment to fit a broad range of ankle widths. Instep catch is hinged for improved pressure distribution and closure; plus, it pivots away from the shell, letting the shell spread for easy entry.
