Chamois features natural silver antimicrobial fibers that reduce bacteria while providing thermal regulation. Carbon yarns in the surface fabric of chamois disperse heat to help reduce body temperature, heart rate and lactic acid. Offset ankle zippers with locking tabs allow easy donning and doffing over shoes; gripper elastic at ankles keeps tights in place. Reflective piping on ankle zippers increases visibility in low light. Elastic waistband with flat-braid drawstring allows an adjustable fit without binding.
