COR-TEC grips combine natural cork and rubber in an ergonomic design that is lightweight, cool in warm weather and comfortable in cold temps. Triple-spring antishock system adds a little spring to your uphill steps and absorbs jarring bumps when you're hiking back down. Strong, three-section, 7075 aluminum shafts are heat treated for outstanding tensile strength. Three-section telescoping poles extend to 55 inches for trail use and compact to 28.3 inches for storage and travel. Universal carbide flex tips ensure long-lasting wear and an optimal grip on ice and rock. Flexible synthetic tips can flex up to 30° without damaging the pole shaft. Nylon wrist straps feature a soft side for comfort against the skin and a one-touch adjustable strap system for use on the fly. Domed disc baskets provide extra support on soft terrain; thanks to a threaded design, they can be easily replaced with larger baskets for winter use.
