The two-pole, one-door design saves weight and provides a comfortably spacious interior, while a 16 sq. ft. vestibule easily stores the necessities. Euro-style mesh canopy attaches to the inside of the rainfly via clips; pole sleeves located on the outside of the fly allow quick and easy setup. Adjustable-tension pole pockets hold poles in place and with just four stakes to set, sleep is not far off! Mesh canopy is easily unhooked and pushed back for extra floor space under the rainfly; it separates from the fly for use as a lightweight bug shelter. Rainfly offers a basic shelter on its own when reduced weight is needed. Large adjustable door tucks away into a pocket and opens to a variety of positions for ventilation; use your trekking poles to set it up awning-style. Vestibule can also be configured to use the side wing as an entrance. For bad weather conditions, ample looped, premounted guylines are included and stored in attached cord stuff sacks. Double guyline loops grip the pole sleeves to keep the fly from flapping in windy weather. Rainfly features two hooped vents for good airflow possibilities under all conditions; front vent can be accessed from inside fly. Mesh-and-fabric canopy is extremely airy yet wards off drops of condensation. Color-coded, reflective, glow-in-the dark zipper pulls offer easy one-handed operation. Interior pockets keep gear organized. For trips under exceptionally wet conditions, Exped recommends using the tent with the optional footprint, sold separately.
