This single-speed bike isn't really single speed! Shimano coasting components provide intelligent, automatic shifting. An electronic ''brain'' monitors riding speed and automatically shifts to the appropriate gear. Shimano Dynamo front hub converts your pedaling power into all the energy needed to shift gears; no batteries required! There are no derailleurs to take care of—all of the gears are built into a well-sealed, virtually maintenance-free internal rear hub. And no brake levers to worry about—just like when you were a kid, simply pedal backwards to engage a powerful coaster brake. Bike has a K2 Dream Ride Design frame which means you ride lower than on most bikes so you can place both feet naturally on the ground when not moving. K2 Dream Ride Design handlebar features a bend, rise and sweep customized for controlled handling and a pain-free, upright ride. The bike's tall and wide tires are inherently stable at slow speeds. Parallelogram seatpost gives the feeling of floating over potholes and cracks; quick-release clamp lets you adjust saddle height in moments. Saddle has elastomer springs and memory foam padding that cushions the ride even more.
