This pair of locking straps work great with most touring kayaks and provide peace of mind while you're away form your vehicle. Die-cast metal cam buckles lock with the simple turn of a key and are encased with a soft plastic that prevents damage to your vehicle or gear. Stainless steel cables running along the outside edges of the tubular webbing prevent the straps from being slashed. Soft ,1.25-inch tubular webbing strap is UV resistant and gentle on kayak hulls. Buckle securely holds strap when lock is engaged or disengaged. Lock has a dustcover over the key hole to prevent snow and dirt from interfering with the locking mechanism. Strap length is adequate for most touring kayaks—also works great with surfboards, skis and snowboards.
