Main compartment provides room aplenty for probe, skins, food, safety essentials and extra layers of clothing. Front zippered pocket for shovel and other avalanche gear plus exterior shovel handle sleeve, keeper and ice axe loop. Padded front panel prevents damage from skis and snowboards. Skis carry diagonally across the front of the pack while snowboards carry vertically down the center; straps tuck-away. Zippered backpanel offers total access inside, even with skis or snowboard attached. Two-liter hydration system features premier Nalgene® TPE reservoir and hose for fresh-tasting water on demand all day long. Articulating bite valve provides on/off control of water and—when on—positions valve to be comfortably held in mouth. For insulation from the cold, hose runs through the right shoulder strap; zippered strap pocket provides access to valve or hides it out of the way. Delrin® rod frame provides structure while ergonomically sculpted shoulder straps enhance the fit. Hipbelt snugs comfortably around hips to help distribute weight to your hips, not your back; hipbelt features a pocket for easy access to small items. Backpanel material sheds snow and dries quickly. Top and bottom compression straps help stabilize gear for security and comfortable carrying.
