We mingled functionality with ecoSensitive™ materials when constructing the sturdy REI Slickrock shorts. Plaited fabric blends the soft, breathable elements of organic cotton on the outside with smooth and quick-drying recycled polyester on the inside. Toxic pesticides are eliminated in every step of the growing process of organic cotton. Use of recycled PET polyester helps reduce oil consumption and air emissions. Plenty of storage in 2 front pockets, right hip key pocket, 2 cargo pockets with mesh sides and 2 back pockets. Cargo and back pockets have rip-and-stick flap closures for security; right cargo pocket features an internal pocket for your cell phone. Pliable mesh-lined waistband reduces chafing. A roomy cut and heavily stone-washed fabric give extra softness and comfort. Fabric provides UPF 50+ sun protection, shielding skin from harmful ultraviolet rays.
